Dear BYU Donor; Thank you for your donation to Brigham Young University. Attending school here is such a blessing to my life, and I would like to personally thank you for helping make this possible. It is truly a privilege to be able to learn from so many professors who are not only experts in their fields, but spiritually mature teachers of the gospel. I am reminded of my programming class where we opened with a hymn and a prayer. It brought spiritual light into what is otherwise a technical and secular topic. BYU is doing an amazing job of educating not only the mind, but the soul also. I know that this will make me a better husband, father, and practitioner of my chosen field. My time at BYU will always be a treasured memory, and it is donors like yourself who keep it running. Thanks again, and God bless you. Dear BYU Donor; I am writing to let you know of the amazing programs that donors like you support when you contribute to Brigham Young University, and thank you for your generosity. I received a degree from another school before I came to Brigham Young University, and though it was an excellent school, there is a polish, a quality, and a spirit at BYU that is not found elsewhere. An great example of this is my genetics professor , who worked for years in the industry before he came here, and is now helping others to go forth to serve. It is such a privilege it is to be taught by individuals of not only professional stature, but spiritual stature as well, which all of my professors have been. Thank you again for you enabling donation to this great school. The lives this university shapes will bless countless people. God bless you. Dear BYU Donor; I am writing in gratitude for being part of helping Brigham Young University continue to bless lives. Thank you for being part of sustaining the inspired programs here. One of those lives is mine. Since I have transfered to BYU, I have seen my testimony strengthen, and my mind sharpen. Just as life is more that food and drink, education is more than books and lectures. BYU understands this, and teaches in the context of service and faith. We are shown how the things we learn tie into our knowledge of God, and how we can use our skills to serve our fellow men. The funds that come to BYU allow this environment to be sustained and offered to succeeding generations. I am grateful for this school, and I know that my classmates are also. Thank you again for your contribution - it has certainly made a difference. Dear BYU Donor; I would like to take this opportunity to thank you for your donation to this university. Brigham Young University has made a huge difference in my life, and It's people like you who make this possible. Here at Brigham Young University, we get more than a simple academic experience - it's a total immersion in an intellectual, and faith-filled environment. I am reminded of a lecture from by genetics professor where were discussing genetic diseases, and he took the time to share his thoughts on how God looks at our spirit, and how all bodily ailments would be corrected in the resurrection. Experiences like this - the interweaving of knowledge of the mind with wisdom of the heart - are commonplace here. What a blessing it is to be a student here! Thank you again for your generosity, your contribution means so much to all of us here. Dear BYU Donor; I am writing this letter to personally thank you for your contribution to BYU. There are many great causes to support, but the education and spirituality found here is certainly a noble one. My experience here has been one of intellectual enlightenment and spiritual maturing. I think back to my honors philosophy class that I had my freshman year. My professor was a man of vast secular knowledge, and a deep understanding of how it related to matter of faith. As we discussed metaphysics and epistemology, we spoke of knowledge of God and it could be arrived at. It was truly a powerful experience to see this merging of the spiritual and secular – a combination that is increasingly hard to balance in this world, but one which BYU champions. Your donation means a lot to us here. Thanks so much, and God bless. Dear BYU Donor; I am writing to extend my heartfelt thanks for your donation to this wonderful university. My experiences here have been very meaningful, and I know I will value them for the rest of my life. One of my favorite aspects of BYU is the religion program. The ability to integrate religion classes into our major requirements make it so we don't have to choose between academics and rigorous study the gospel. This balance has helped my keep my life and goals in perspective. In a world that is quickly drifting away from spiritual things, time in the school day to study the scriptures is so valuable. Brigham Young University is bringing this experience to many students each year, and donations like your make it possible. The good that is done here goes out to touch many lives. Thank you again for your contribution, and God bless you. Dear BYU Donor; I am writing because you have helped make a difference here, and I would like to say thank you. Donations like yours mean that Brigham Young University is able to continue providing the world class education that it does. My honors speech and debate class is a prime example of the quality of programs available here. Our professor was great, he loved speech and debate, and was able to give us that excitement for improving our communication abilities. I found myself looking forward to class because of the engaging classroom participation. It was amazing to see my classmates and I gain confidence in speaking and communication ability. Here at BYU, the professors aren't just trying to fill us with information - they are teaching us to make a difference in the world. Thank you for your contribution, it has helped keep this great university fulfilling its mission. Dear BYU Donor; It is with great gratitude that I write to thank you for contributing to Brigham Young University. The academic programs that are supported by donations like yours make an enormous difference in the lives of many students like me. Education here at BYU is about more than simply filing away facts - it's about learning how to use knowledge, and how to use it in a responsible way. An excellent example of this is in my bioengineering classes. We learn not only about the many things that can be done with biological technology, but also the ethical limits that researchers must impose upon themselves. In this fast-paced world, ethics so often get left by the wayside, but here at BYU, they take center stage. Thank you again for being part of the quality education that is available here at BYU. Your assistance means a lot to all of us here. Dear BYU Donor; Thank you for your contribution to BYU. Being a student here has been such a blessing to my life, and I would like to personally thank you for helping to make this possible. Dear BYU Donor; I am writing to let you know of the amazing programs that donors like you support when you contribute to Brigham Young University, and thank you for your generosity. My academic and spiritual experience here has been of the highest caliber. I am reminded of my accounting class, where we learned principals of financial planning, and I was impressed by how my professor taught philanthropy as an important part of anyone's financial future. When BYU says "Go forth to serve," they mean it, and they prepare us to do it. This attitude permeates all of the instruction here, and it has truly made a positive difference in how I plan to live my life. I know it has also influenced many of my classmates. Thank you again for you enabling donation to this great school. The lives this university shapes will bless countless people. God bless you. Dear BYU Donor, Thank you for your contribution. Its amazing that we obtain a first rate education at a stage in our life when were our natural budget constraint wouldn’t normally permit. Your donation makes that possible, I am studying economics. I have never been surrounded by professors who are as knowledgeable and interested in my personal learning. These teachers inspire me to learn by study and also by faith. From this study I have learned how to be a better citizen, student, and saint. So much of our world is governed by philosophies of the world; many are moved about on the whim of conventional wisdom. I feel privileged to be in a place where I learn the eternal truths to base my decisions about and petition for a better world. Thank you immensely, Dear BYU Donor, I feel very lucky to be able to be at this school--perhaps one of the finest in the country--and have the benefit and support of great generosity. I have opportunities, and in fact, I can go to school, because of donations like yours. I have really enjoyed my honors debate class. I enjoy discussing each side of a political, social, or economic issue. Discussing these issues in the light and company of the gospel brings new perspective and hope to our futures. This academic experience, completely helped by contributions like yours, has been the most rewarding academic experience that I have had the pleasure of enjoying. Thank you again, you don’t know how much your donation helps us as students. Our limited time would not be as rewarding or enriching, without good people like you. Thanks. Dear BYU Donor, I would like to thank you for your kindness and generosity. Our education would not be possible without support like yours. I am a great fan of the library here at Brigham Young University. It is the fourth best university library in the country. The genealogy records here are among the most extensive in the world. There are historical exhibits throughout. It contains one of the vastest collections intellectual research and analysis. It is simply a scintillating museum of intelligence. I love the opportunities afforded there. Donations like yours invested and keep up with this magnificent architectural and collaborative effort of brilliance. Thank you for your generosity. You have created a great service, a great building, and a legacy of charity. Dear BYU Donor, You have a great heart to offer your plenty to me as a student. You do not directly know the thousands of students that you are personally helping by your fine contribution. But the incredible education and opportunities we are afforded here are incredible. They are only possible because of you. Thank you. Thank you. Here the research opportunities are quite spectacular. The library here is incredible. It is the fourth best college library in the United States. The deep resources of the library are one of a large bundle of opportunities that enrich and enable my education. I have learned so much, peering through the window of history, goggling through the magnifying glass of science, and aweing at the glass of rhetoric and syntax itself. Generous patrons like yourself make these opportunities possible. Thank you for your incredible gift. You don’t understand that the school is the incredible school that it is because of people like you. Thank you, once again. Dear BYU Donor, Coming to this school has been one of the greatest priveleges I have had. It has been an amazing experience already. Most of our educational opportunities are in fact made possible only by charitable donors like you. Thank you. My professors here are the best teachers I have ever had the pleasure of learning from. They have a scintillating well of spiritual and intellectual waters to draw on. One of my favorite professors was Professor Goss who taught a political science general education class my freshman year. I was impressed with his well-roundedness. He had been a lobbyist in Washington DC for a number of years; his research was up-to-date and relevant to current debate. He was fair, gospel-minded, and he radiated wisdom and progress. Thanks again. Your donations and your generosity make our education the richest academic experience it can be. Dear BYU Donor, I am grateful for your donation. It is the breath of BYU’s success. Without the support of generous donors like yourself, our school would be much poorer in education, in opportunity, and in every facet of college life. I have the pleasure of representing Brigham Young University on the Debate Team here. We travel to tournaments from Wyoming to Arizona, from Oregon, to Colorado. We have a witty team of scholar-saints, and I appreciate their company and their perspectives. For our tournaments, we learn current political, social, economic, and international issues. We often focus our perspective of these complex issues through the clear lens of the gospel. It is an incredible opportunity and an awesome lecture on the importance of open-mindedness and seeking by study and also by faith. Donors like you make our team possible. Thank you for your generosity. May God bless you. Dear BYU Donor, I’m short of how to say it, but thank you for your donation. At Brigham Young University we have gem opportunities that are not afforded to other students throughout the world do not have the opportunities afforded us. For example, in all other Universities, public and private, the Federal Government gives moneys for scientific research and studies. Unfortunately, the government is also able to meddle and regulate those universities. Nearby the fine University of Utah accepts 100 million dollars annually from the federal government. With one fiftieth of the federal funding, BYU is able to fund its science, un-meddled by the government with the generous kindness of donors like you. Because of your charity, we out-innovate competing schools with fewer federal dollars. I appreciate your gift, as a gift to BYU and to the bright generation that will inherit the inventions of today’s universities. Thank you. Dear BYU Donor, I am grateful for your generosity. Your gift to Brigham Young University is a gem of charity that is greatly appreciated. I am an economics major. I have been continually impressed by my professors. They are incredible. Bright, interested, interesting, concerned, each is a library of information and a wealth of perspective. I am learning that the natural forces of the market create competition; from this competition comes the efficiency that most costlessly transfers resources to their most efficient uses. Meanwhile, that efficiency keeps prices low, serving the poor and making our real money worth more. These real principles help me to make smart decisions in the world and help us to create better national policies that will improve the overall well-being of our country and the world. Thank you for this education. I would not have that opportunity to come here for school, where it not for your enabling donations. Dear BYU Donor, I have opportunities, and in fact, I can go to school, because of donations like yours. I feel very lucky to be able to be at this school--perhaps one of the fines in the country--and have the benefit and support of great generosity. Dear BYU Donor, I am grateful that your contribution has helped many students, including myself. BYU is a very respectable school and has many opportunities for all who attend here. I myself have had wonderful experiences and opportunities to expand my horizon and gain understanding on many different fields of subjects. As I have studied and taken a few Chinese classes, I have had the opportunity to participate in the Studybuddy program with the ELC (English Learning Center) program. I have had many Chinese studybuddies and we have interacted and learned from each others’ culture. That would not happen anywhere else so successfully. I have gained an understanding about the Chinese culture, their views on the United States and the Church. Again, thank you for your donation which makes this program possible, and which not only gives BYU a greater world-wide recognition, but the Church also a great opportunity to leave a lasting impression on those that have never heard of it in their part of the world Dear BYU Donor, Thank you. You do not directly know the thousands of students that you are personally helping by your fine contribution. You have a great heart to offer your plenty to me as a student. But the incredible education and opportunities we are afforded here are incredible. They are only possible because of you. Thank you. It is hard to attend school while having a child, and I have been able to accomplish the impossible by being in a school that allows me the chance to bring the child to class with me. The teachers are very considerate and understanding. I am grateful for the opportunity for a great education and am glad I have had the opportunity. Again, thank you for your donation which makes this program possible, and which not only gives BYU a greater world-wide recognition, but the Church also a great opportunity to leave a lasting impression on those that have never heard of it in their part of the world. Dear BYU Donor: Thank you for your generous donations to BYU. Attending BYU is like a dream come true and this is all possible because of your help. It is people like you who make a difference in our lives here at BYU. I remember on the first day of my economics class here at BYU. Our professor held an auction on $1 dollar bills and everyone was asked to participate. Unfortunately for us, we realized after we made a bid that only 1 person would actually get the $1 and everyone else would pay for nothing. In an attempt to recover our losses, we drove up the $1 bill to $8.35. The experience was both educational and humbling because not only did it teach us the importance of “think before you act”, but it also illuminated the deadly consequences of pride. I have personally learned a lot at BYU and this is all possible thanks to you. Sincerely, Dear BYU Donor: Thank you for your generous donations to Brigham Young University. Attending BYU is like a dream come true and this is all possible because of your help. It is people like you who make a difference in our lives here at BYU. As a student here at BYU, I’m thankful for the opportunity to enrich my profession, personal, and spiritual growth. I’m majoring in Business Management in hopes of one day going to law school. It’s exciting to go to class everyday and constantly be challenged by professors and work with peers as intelligent as they are kind. BYU not only teaches their students to be creative and successful in their business classes, but also teaches us how we can incorporate the gospel into our lives so we can one day become ethical and responsible leaders. Thank you for making this learning possible. Sincerely, Dear BYU Donor, Thank you for your generous donation to BYU. Attending school here has been one of the best experiences of my life. I recall my first History class here at BYU. The teacher was extremely open about the importance of being a historian as a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Putting the academic discipline of history into the framework of the gospel was a new experience for me, and it opened my eyes to the necessity to be as objective and honest to the people that I read and write about. This acknowledgement has accompanied me through the rest of my studies as I have entered them with a new soberness and respect. This conversation between teachers and students could have only happened at BYU, since it is only at BYU that a history teacher would be comfortable discussing the religious context which history fits into. I enjoy the process of growing both intellectually and spiritually. Thank you again for giving me the opportunity to attend BYU through your donation. Dear BYU Donor, Thank you for your donation to BYU. I am so grateful for the opportunity to attend such a wonderful university, and generous contributions like yours help to make BYU even better. I am majoring in history and recently enrolled in a class studying Indians in Colonial America. At the beginning of the class the teacher discussed the importance of studying the natives of America, especially within the context of the gospel. To have the opportunity to study the inhabitants of the land that brought forth the Book of Mormon in a university setting was one of the best experiences I have had here at BYU. What a unique opportunity to be able to discuss both aspects of this event, the historical and the spiritual. I am so thankful for the opportunity to attend this university and recognize it as a unique opportunity in my life. Thank you for making my attendance possible through your kind donation. Dear BYU Donor, Thank you for your generous contribution to BYU. BYU is a unique and wonderful institution to receive and education from, and donors like you make the opportunity to attend possible. In one of my classes, we studied ancient civilizations such as China, Mesopotamia and the people of the Hindus River Valley. The instructor also took the time to incorporate the ancient civilizations of Mesoamerica, the setting of the Book of Mormon. This was an extremely enlightening part of the course as the instructor described the environment that surrounded the people of the Book of Mormon. This experience was one of the most intellectually fascinating and spiritually illuminating of my tenure here at BYU. I am so pleased to be able to have experiences like these while a student at this wonderful institution. I wish to thank you sincerely for your contribution to the university which helps students like me to grow so much. Dear BYU Donor, Thank you so much for your generous contribution to BYU. I am so grateful for the opportunity to attend such a prestigious university, and kind donations like yours make that experience possible. I remember my first history class here at BYU. Up to that point, all of my history classes were comprised of facts and books to read and not question. However, this class was different, our instructor treated us as budding historians to be trained, not lectured. The class changed my personal outlook on my purposes as a student at a university and gave me the perspective that a university is supposed to do more than educate someone; it is supposed to prepare them for greatness in their field of study. I am so thankful for the opportunity to be educated as well as grow as a student and as a person here at BYU. Thank you again for your donation to help make BYU the wonderful institution it is. Dear BYU Donor, I am writing to thank you for your generous donation to BYU. I am so grateful for the opportunity to attend school here, and it is due to the kindness of donors like you. One of the most impressive aspects of BYU is the quality of teachers that are provided for such an economic tuition. I recall my first semester here at Brigham Young University, I was deeply impressed with the fact that all of my instructors had published on the very subject that they were teaching. At BYU, the professors feel like a part of the community and I trust that they sincerely want students like me to succeed and have a well-balanced education that is both spiritually and intellectually uplifting. The community of teachers that BYU offers is unique and sets it apart from the rest of the world. Thank you so much for providing the opportunity for students like me to attend such a wonderful university. Sincerely, Dear BYU Donor, Thank you for your contribution to BYU. I am so thankful for the opportunity to attend school here, and donors like you make that opportunity possible. I recall a philosophy class that I attended here. We began each day with a word of prayer offered by either a student or the teacher. Having taken philosophy classes at other universities, I know that philosophy can be a very heated subject filled with debate. The debates that took place in my philosophy class here at BYU were pursued with a spirit of respect and sincerity was not present at other universities. We learned about the history of philosophical movements with an appreciation for the pursuit of ultimate truth. Experiences like this are exclusive to BYU, and I am grateful for the opportunity to be a part of them. Thank you again for your kindness and generosity which allow students like me such a great education. Sincerely, Dear BYU Donor, Thank you for your donation to Brigham Young University. I am so thankful for the opportunity to attend school here and the kindness that you have displayed helps to make that possible. I recall a history group presentation that I took part in. Preparing group presentations has always been difficult for me. However, unlike presentations that I had done in the past, we began our preparation with a word of prayer. This helped a great deal as ideas seemed to flood to my mind more easily. On the day of the presentation, we offered another prayer as a group before class started, and again this helped a great deal to unify our group and to help us to do better on our presentation than we would otherwise have done. Experiences like this abound at BYU, and I am so grateful to be part of them. Thank you again for your generosity in helping to make this education possible for people like me. Sincerely, Dear BYU Donor, Thank you for your generous donation to BYU. Having the privilege of being a student of BYU has been a great blessing in my life, and the kindness of people like you allow that blessing to happen. I remember a logic class that I enrolled in that had a profound effect on me. On the first day of class the teacher discussed why it was spiritually important to learn logic. Instead of simply focusing on the temporary aspects of logic, he reminded us of the logic of eternal truths such as eternal marriage and the atonement. This conversation helped me to gain a deeper respect not just for logic, but for the education offered me at Brigham Young University. This lesson could have only been taught at BYU. I am so happy to be attending school here. Thank you again for your donation to BYU, which makes attending here possible for students like me. Sincerely, Dear BYU Donor, Thank you for your generous donation. I am so grateful for the opportunity to attend BYU, and donors like you make that opportunity possible. One of the best aspects of going to school here is the inclusion of religion classes in standard school schedules. The quality of the religious instructors here at BYU is phenomenal. I remember taking a class on the second half of the Doctrine and Covenants at the same time that I was attending a history class entitled “America through 1877”. The combination of learning about America at large and the specific focus on the history of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints during the early nineteenth century was both intellectually and spiritually enlarging. I love attending BYU. I would not trade my education here for anywhere else in the world. I appreciate your generosity, which helps students like me have such a wonderful experience here at BYU. Sincerely, Dear BYU Donor, Thank you for your donation to BYU. Being a student at BYU has been one of the most spiritually and intellectually uplifting experiences of my life, and it is possible through donors like you. I recall a conversation that I had in one of my history classes. The discussion quickly turned from the history of Nazi Germany to an examination of the presence of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints within Germany under the fascist government, and the testimony these members must have had in order to endure such hardships. The conversation continued for a time as we discussed other examples of testimony under stressful situations, such as Abinadi and Abish. The level of comfort that exists at BYU in such versatile discussions is one of my favorite aspects of the school. Seamless conversations like this could have only happened at BYU, and donors like you make these conversations possible. Thank you again for you kindness and generosity. Sincerely, Dear BYU Donor, I wish to express to you my gratitude for your contribution to BYU. This school has provided me with wonderful opportunities to learn and to serve, and I have you to thank for them. I had the opportunity to take a very interesting professor who taught us about ancient political philosophers. His method of teaching was arguing from the perspective of the philosopher that we were studying. Then the professor would compare that truth with the full truth of the gospel, illustrating the great blessings of the restored gospel, which helped to strengthen my understanding and my testimony. It is truly a blessing to have a university where all different truths can be taught at the same place, both temporal and spiritual. Thank you for providing the means by which others and I can partake of these great opportunities to learn and to grow. This school means so much to me and many other students Dear BYU Donor, I would like to express my appreciation for your donation to BYU. This school has provided me with countless opportunities to learn and to serve, and it is because of charitable donors such as you that they are available to me. My political science class I ever took was taught by a very opinionated professor, which turned out to mean that he was always entertaining. The professor was one the best I have ever had, because he was able to teach us the have a wider view of the world, and to look for the reasoning behind practices and policies in the U.S, and how the gospel was a part of that. I was able to better understand my role as a citizen and member of the church, and how my role will evolve as I enter the workforce with an expertise in politics. It is truly a blessing to have a university where all different truths can be taught at the same place, both temporal and spiritual. Thank you for providing the means by which others and I can partake of these great opportunities to learn and to grow. Dear BYU Donor, I would like to take an opportunity to thank you for your donation to BYU. This school has provided me with wonderful opportunities to learn and to serve, and your willingness to support us is such a blessing. As I conclude my studies at this university, I look back often and see how much this institution has helped me to grow. I have received an education that the rest of world respects, though, perhaps more importantly, I have gained a deeper understanding of the gospel and how it related to all learning, providing a perfect complement secular theory and science. It is truly a blessing to have a university where many different truths can be taught, spiritual as well as secular, especially since the world would have us learn the latter and ignore the former. Thank you for providing the means by which others and I can partake of these great opportunities to learn and to grow. Dear BYU Donor, I wish to thank you for your generous donation to BYU. This university has given me many possibilities to learn and to grow, which are available to me because of contributions like yours. During the school year, with studying, working and participating in the Speech and Debate Team, sometimes it can be hard to remember the spiritual side of learning. It has always been a blessing to have, amongst the hard work, a religion class with an inspired professor, teaching me the scriptures both ancient and modern, giving me a newer and deeper level of understanding. It is such a exceptional opportunity to attend a university where all different truths can be taught at the same place, both temporal and spiritual. Thank you for providing the means by which others and I can partake of these great opportunities to learn and to grow. This means so much to me and many others. Dear BYU Donor, I would like to express my thanks for your generous donation to BYU. This university has given me a multitude of possibilities to learn and to grow, which are available to me because of contributions like yours. I was able to take a biology class here a few years ago, which was a wonderful experience. I was able to learn about the processes of life and how our wonderful and complex our bodies really are. What really affected me was how the light of the gospel changed my perspectives of science, and my professor stressed the importance of scientific inquiry and the guidance of the spirit for the greatest learning and understanding. It is a singular opportunity to attend a university where correct principles and truths can be taught at the same place, both temporal and spiritual. Thank you for providing the means by which others and I can partake of these great opportunities to learn and to grow. Dear BYU Donor, I would like to thank you for your generous contribution to BYU. This university has given me a multitude of possibilities to learn and to grow, which are available to me because of donations like yours. I studied at another school before I came to Brigham Young University, and though it was an excellent school, there is a distinctive quality found here that is not found elsewhere. An great example of this is my political methods professor, who worked for graduated from the best schools before he came here, but gave up lucrative career opportunities in order to others to go forth to serve. It is such a privilege it is to be taught by individuals of not only professional stature, but spiritual stature as well, which all of my professors have been. It is a singular opportunity to attend a university where correct principles and truths can be taught at the same place, both temporal and spiritual. Thank you for benefaction, so that others and I can partake of these great opportunities to learn and to grow. Dear BYU Donor, Thank you for your contribution to BYU. This school has provided me with wonderful opportunities to learn and to serve, and it is donors like you that make such opportunities possible. I recently took a class that taught us the political and philosophical views of many modern philosophers. During the discussion of the views of each philosopher, the professor challenged us to evaluate their views in light of the gospel. After the entire course, the professor showed us doctrine as set forth the Book of Mormon as pertaining to political philosophy, and I was able to see how these difficult questions of morals and values were so simply answered by the truth of the gospel. This experience helped to strengthen my testimony and taught me a new level of appreciation for the restored gospel. It is truly a blessing to have a university where all different truths can be taught at the same place, both temporal and spiritual. Thank you for providing the means by which others and I can partake of these great opportunities to learn and to grow. Dear BYU Donor, I am very grateful for your contribution to BYU. This school has provided me with many possibilities to learn and to serve, which are available to me because of your generosity. I am studying political science. I have had the privilege to study under professors who are knowledgeable and brilliant, and yet are interested in my personal learning. These great men and women inspire me to learn by study and by faith. Thanks to my work here I have learned how to be a better citizen, student, and saint. So much of our world is governed by philosophies of the world; many are moved about on the whim of conventional wisdom. It is truly a blessing to have a university where all different truths can be taught at the same place, both temporal and spiritual. Thank you for providing the means by which others and I can partake of these great opportunities to learn and to grow. Dear BYU Donor, I would like to thank you for you contributions to BYU. This university has provided me with many possibilities to learn and to progress, which are available to me because of donors like you. I have studied at this university for several years now and feel that it is a privilege to be able to attend here. I have enjoyed amazing experiences with my professors here, and I have been taught how secular learning goes hand in hand with spiritual learning. The greatest blessing about this school is when I can attend a devotional, and hear and see the apostles of the Church come and give us counsel and admonition. Those experiences have fortified my testimony in the restored gospel and given me faith through my adversities. It is such a unique opportunity to attend a university where all different truths can be taught at the same place, both temporal and spiritual. Thank you for providing the means by which others and I can partake of these great opportunities to learn and to grow. Dear BYU Donor, I would like to express my thanks for your generous donation to BYU. This university has given me a multitude of possibilities to learn and to grow, which are available to me because of contributions like yours. As my years go by at this university, I reflect on the environment that BYU has fostered and how it has helped me to learn and grow as no other institution could. The green, beautiful campus and the stat-of-the-art buildings and facilities make BYU an environment where I enjoy being. The blessing it is to be here with other members of my faith, people who share my same values and standards, whose appearance and demeanor are clean and always pleasant. It is a singular opportunity to attend a university where correct principles and truths can be taught at the same place, both temporal and spiritual. Thank you for providing the means by which others and I can partake of these great opportunities to learn and to grow. Dear BYU Donor, Thank you for choosing to support Brigham Young University. It is a fine institution that provides a very unique learning environment. Here students not only learn to exceed expectations academically, but they are encouraged to nurture their personal and spiritual growth. These in combination allow each student to reach unimaginable heights. As a mathematics major, I have had the opportunity to enroll in math classes that are quite challenging and that take me well out of my comfort zone. In my last math class, we covered material that was very difficult to understand until I met with a teacher's assistant. Such a resource was only made possible through contributors like yourself. Without that help, I would not have passed the class. Your donations provide every student with that same success. Thank you for making educational success a possibility. Dear BYU Donor, Thank you for your generous support! Brigham Young University provides its students with endless facilities, programs and materials to compliment the classroom learning. One of these fantastic facilities is the Harold B. Lee Library. The library is open to all students for a great studying environment, seemingly infinite research materials, and the latest technology for optimal learning. One of my favorite tools are the online databases. These give students access to thousands of peer-reviewed journals in the convenience of the student's own home whether it be on or off campus! These journals give students information for writing papers, completing projects or simply to learn for fun. These databases are available to students because of your contribution to the university. Your donations go far at BYU and they facilitate learning opportunities to every student. Thank you for helping us succeed. Dear BYU Donor, Education is a necessity to succeed in today's world. As young adults we not only have to consider what to major in, which classes to take and how to manage our time, but we also have many financial concerns as well. A prestigious education is costly, but contributors like yourself give every student at BYU one of the finest educations at a feasible cost. Without your support, we would not be able to attend BYU. Your donations help not only us as students, but they will continue to affect the lives of those who we influence as we drive the future forward to places unimagined. Your are donating to a better and brighter tomorrow by preparing students to carry out the motto of Brigham Young University to "Go Forth to Serve." Thank you for contributing to the success of the many students at BYU. We could not succeed with out you. Dear BYU Donor, Thank you so much for your contributions to such a wonderful and prestigious university. Brigham Young University truly is a wonderful educational institution that fosters both academics and personal growth. Because of donors like you, students are able to take advantage of such a unique opportunity. I recently completed my freshman year at BYU. Like all freshman, I was nervous and apprehensive as to what college life held in store for me. The university offers many programs for freshman to help ease the adjustment and encourage extraordinary performance in and out of the classroom. The programs are possible because of your generous donations. Thank you for not only promoting success, but for providing the means for that success to be possible. We succeed because of you. Dear BYU Donor, Charity is perhaps the greatest of all characteristics to possess, something that you have exemplified through your generosity to Brigham Young University. This fine institution teaches its students to perform well academically as well as personally. We are guided by the example of donors like yourself that place high value on the future of the students attending BYU. I am currently a mathematics major. I was blessed with three outstanding high school math teachers that have inspired me to pursue a life in this subject. I have also had two outstanding professors here at BYU that have already taught me priceless knowledge about mathematics that will be vital to keep up in the ever-changing world of technology. It is contributors like yourself that help provide us with these cream-of-the-crop professors who are experts in the field and care about the success of the students. Thank you for supporting my success by donating to BYU. Dear BYU Donor, Every year BYU ranks high in the nation for outstanding undergraduate success. That success is made possible because of your contributions to the university. Your donations go directly to programs and equipment that provide the university's students with one of the best educations in operation. We students benefit greatly from your generosity. I have always had a strong interest in pursuing a teaching career. I entered BYU with an English major with the intent of teaching high school English. I enrolled in a math class that fulfilled a GE course and, with the kind help of both my teacher and his assistant, realized that I had a great future in math education. I am now a mathematics major and hope to become a high school teacher so that I can help many students succeed in math the way my teachers have done for me. Your contributions make programs like this possible for me and the thousands of other BYU students. You cannot imagine the difference your donation will make. Dear BYU Donor, I am so blessed to have been accepted to one of the finest collegiate institutions in the country. I am even more fortunate to be surrounded by those who are anxiously engaged in my academic and personal success. Faculty, students and generous donors all work together to shape young adults to face and improve the future of our society. Contributors like yourself play a significant role in this process. Many universities have one program that they are recognized for. After attending BYU for nearly a year, I have discovered that BYU has not only one area of success, but all programs are exceptional and many have been nationally ranked. The Marriott School of Business is currently ranked number one in the nation among business schools, while the J. Ruben Clark Law School was voted eighth in the country. Both the pre-med and pre-dental programs are also among the top percentiles and the students from both are quickly accepted into graduate programs. These programs are successful because of the donations of many individuals from across the world. Every donation gives the students a greater opportunity to learn and succeed. Thank you for making our educational success possible. Dear BYU Donor, Choosing a university, just like many incoming freshman, was a long decision. However, in looking at the benefits and the prestige of programs of BYU, the decision made itself. BYU is a fine university and is so because of contributors like you who generously donate to the university. College is a large step in any young adult's life and is often a rough transition academically and personally. Students deal with the lifestyle changes that college brings along with a huge leap in academic expectations. Brigham Young University provides endless opportunities for students to succeed and to get help when they need it. There are labs for nearly every subject; everything from economics to biology to writing and everything imaginable in between. These services are made possible through generous donors like you. Thank you for making a difference. Dear BYU Donor, Education is a priceless asset. An excellent education is often very costly, which is money that young students often don't have. However, at Brigham Young University a fabulous education for a decent price is made possible through generous donors like yourself. Your donations provide students like me with the opportunity and tools to succeed and prepare for the future of our society. I am currently a mathematics major. After obtaining my BS degree, I would like to attend law school. I would love to be a lawyer to fight for those who deserve to be protected by the law. The American government system is so fascinating to me, and I am excited to learn more about it. The J. Ruben Clark Law School ranks among the top eight in the nation and I would love to have an opportunity to attend there so that I can preserve the laws of this country. Thank you for your donations that give me and others this opportunity. Dear BYU Donor, One of Brigham Young University's mottos is "Enter to Learn, Go Forth to Serve." The academics that flourish at BYU are among the best in the nation. We attend classes each day, complete our assignments and hope to learn as much as we can before we go into the world to contribute to the future. The learning atmosphere here is wonderful; the professors are highly educated men and women who honestly care about the learning of each student. Your generosity fosters such an excellent learning environment. In a few years, I will finish my degree in mathematics and I will go out into the world. I am hoping to be a high school teacher where I can truly fulfill the goal of BYU to serve those around me. Your donations benefit not only the students, but the many lives that each student will touch in years to come. Thank you for making a contribution to better students and the future of our society. Sincerely, Dear BYU Donor, Brigham Young University offers students with a unique learning environment. A prestigious academic institution is coupled with personal and spiritual enrichment. Here, thousands of students enrich every aspect of their lives. This ideal institution is made possible through contributions of generous individuals like you. We thank you for your kindness. As a student at BYU, I have also learned the value of taking advantage of every opportunity. I recently joined the debate team where I will continue to learn how to educatedly discuss real-world issues and propose possible alternatives and solutions to them. Co-curricular activities like these that enhance our collegiate experience are only available because of you. Thank you for financially supporting us in learning to think critically now so that we might better the world in the near future. Dear BYU Donor, As a student at Brigham Young University, I have become aware of the great blessing it is to be a student here. Few other places in the world adequately couple academics with spiritual and personal improvement, and I feel very fortunate to be attending here. I have also become aware that this opportunity can only take place when friends of the university generously donate. Thank you for giving me this unique opportunity. While at BYU I have been exposed to many intelligent professors. The first day of class he had already learned nearly every student's name despite the large class size that approached seventy. The deep love and care he had for each of his students was very apparent in his teaching, and it created a classroom environment that was unlike any other. We all developed a one-on-one relationship with him through continuous interaction. This is what education is about, and your contributions make the education at BYU like this. Many thanks, Dear BYU Donor, Thank you for contributing to the learning of students at Brigham Young University. Your generosity is what keeps the university running and what makes it such a wonderful and unique environment. Your contributions make a very large difference in the quality of education that we receive. While at BYU I have discovered how important it is to utilize the library and other materials that are readily available. One fantastic part of the library is the L. Tom Perry Special Collections. At the end of the Fall 2007 semester, I had the opportunity to view ancient transcriptions in my Comparative Literature class. It took the level of learning to new places as suddenly we were living the information rather than reading or hearing about it. Your contributions provide the university with such great learning tools that allow students a "hands-on" experience. Thank you for promoting such a level of education. Dear BYU Donor, I would like to express my deepest thanks to you for your generous contributions to BYU. Anywhere else in the world, an education of this caliber would cost its students a fortune, making it impossible for me to attend. Because of the generous contributions of donors like you, I am able to receive one of the best educations in the country. This is something that I am grateful for every day. American history takes on a new light when taught with a gospel perspective. This country was founded on principles of righteousness, and it is only through the understanding of God’s hand in its origin that we can fully appreciate and understand its history. I was very grateful for the experience I had in American Heritage. This is an experience that I could never have had at any other university. I am so grateful for the blessing of education in my life, and also for compassionate persons like you who help bring it about. Thank-you once again. Sincerely, Dear BYU Donor, I write this letter with the intent of expressing my deepest thanks to you and for your donations to Brigham Young University. Quality education is only possible with the help of quality supporters, and BYU certainly maintains that standard of excellence. Thank-you so much for you generous contributions to BYU. As the pressures of school, clubs, work, and teams build up on me, I continue to find solace in the refreshing spirit of BYU’s commitment to the gospel. This combination of spiritual commitment with secular learning increases my ability to retain information. This is only possible through BYU, and BYU is only possible through donors such as yourself. Your commitment to my education and the education of thousands of others has brought untold blessings into the lives of God’s children. Thank-you for your support and concern. This University mean so much to me, and to many others who attend here. Most graciously, Dear BYU Donor, Please accept this simple token of appreciation for the wonderful service that you render the students of BYU. A true service is to give to one what they could not have obtained themselves. College is a very stressful time for young students, and the economic relief that we receive from your generous contributions allows us to remain in school and finish our programs. Thank-you so much for this wonderful gift. In my Comparative Politics class, we were able to discus the political and economic impacts different governmental regimes had on the people of the Book of Mormon. One day, our entire reading assignment came out of Mosiah. This taught me the importance of incorporating the gospel into every aspect of my life. Politics does not have to be the immoral, cheap, short-handed affair that today’s society paints it to be. I thank you again for your wonderful donations, and may the blessings of Lord fill your life as you continue to further his work. Cordially, Dear BYU Donor, Thank-you for your donations to BYU. Your gifts are truly appreciated and valued. Many students like me have dreamed of college their entire lives, and are thrilled when those aspirations are made reality with the generous help of benefactors like you. Thank-you so much for helping us to achieve our goals and dreams. One thing that I appreciate most at BYU is the beautiful landscaping and meticulous care of the grounds and buildings. Coming from a small town, the though of living in a large urban city was frightening. The caring professors and warm gospel atmosphere helped me feel right at home. This happens only at BYU. Thank-you for your donation that makes this possible. Though my thanks may be small, it is a representation of many thousands of students who feel the same way that I do. We all appreciate your contribution and pray for lives to be blessed as you continue this selfless service. Thank-you so much, Dear BYU Donor, Your donations are so appreciated! This quality education that I have the blessing of receiving is made possible by kind sponsors like you. Thank-you for your generous gifts and your kind support. I have never been surrounded by such talented, and knowledgeable people in all my life. Both the students and teachers radiate with the understanding of the gospel and the vigor of pursued secular learning. I feel privileged and blessed to be grouped with such people. I have learned so much from them and gained so much experience from their bright testimonies and ready willingness to share This is a unique quality of BYU. The cut-throat competitiveness of a renowned university is tempered by the constant presence of the gospel. This environment is made possible through your donations, and thousands of students reap the benefits each day. We thank you. May the Lord bless you for your service and keep you always. All my care, Dear BYU Donor, Thank-you for you compassionate service as a donor to BYU. I can hardly think of a service with longer-reaching effects than assisting in the education of thousands of young professionals. We appreciate and value your gift and extend to you our greatest thanks. As a student in a debate class, I am constantly given the chance to speak out and express myself—something that is not always within my comfort zone. At BYU, debate is not just a secular subject to be argued for its own sake, but a means of delving into our minds for intellectual and spiritual stimulation. Things that are difficult for the world to see are plain when examined with the clear eye of the gospel. I really appreciate what I have learned from debate and look forward to continuing my participation in the program. BYU alone offers this mix of secular and spiritual matters, and I feel blessed to participate in it. Thank-you again for your help; it does make a difference. Thank-you, Dear BYU donor, Thank you for your donation to an institution that has been such a blessing in my life. With times like these, it’s great to have a school where students share the same values that I do. As a biology student, I have had the opportunity to learn a great deal about the myriad of living things that live in this wonderful world. At BYU, I have been able to learn about how all this organisms work together in perfect harmony to keep this world going. We learned the importance of how a seemingly small and insignificant organism can totally disrupt an entire ecosystem when taken away. This stresses the importance of knowing that this earth is a gift to us that we need to be careful with so it isn’t utterly wasted away in the future. It is great to have an institution such as BYU that helps us see the sacredness of our world. Thank you for making it possible for me to obtain a mentally and spiritually enriching education. Dear BYU donor, Thank you for your donation. It is such an honor to be at a University that teaches more about us than just what we are. As a student, I have had the opportunity to take a course on anatomy of the human body. The class totally changed my view on my own body. It was amazing to see how all the different parts of the body worked together to help keep living. This school has taught more than just what is in the body, it has taught me the greatness it is to be human and the many privileges that come with it. It has taught me the sacredness of my body and how important it is to take proper care of it. This could only happen at BYU. Thank you again for your selfless donation to help a student like me learn not just what he is, but also of what he is made. Gratefully, Dear BYU Donor, Thank you for your donation. In times like these it would be economically easier to hold on to money rather than selflessly giving it away. I am privileged to be surrounded by professors that take great interest in my education. My professors are able to focus more on the student rather than what will be their next source of income. Thanks to your donation, I have teachers that take the time to learn who I am and how they can best adjust their teaching to my needs, even in a class of over one hundred students! They teach me how to learn by study and by faith. Their teachings inspire me to be a better student and citizen of this world and how I can “go forth to serve” my fellow man and country. You are truly what make this school the inspiring institution that it is. Thank you very much. Sincerely, Dear BYU Donor, I would like to personally thank you for your kind and very generous donation to the University. Your selfless donation affects thousands of students here at this university who “enter to learn” and “go forth to serve.” All of my academic studies here at BYU have enriched my life in so many different ways than just the subject we are studying. My teachers all see my education as an opportunity to instill in me values to improve not only myself but the world around me. They teach me to strive for excellence and to obtain the most out of what I’ve been given. I treasure everyday here at Brigham Young University. Each day is a new opportunity to absorb from my studies new and exciting ways to help my fellow man. My professors teach me how to be a better student, citizen, and saint. Thank you again for your charity. Thankfully yours, Dear BYU Donor, Thank you so much for giving of yourself to help enrich and enhance my studies here at the illustrious institution that is Brigham Young University. Your donation breathes life into this University. The Harold B. Lee Library is one of the best libraries in the United States of America. Your donation makes it possible for me to have so many diverse resources at the tip of my fingers. The many resources available here make it possible for me to have a more complete and well rounded education that give me a more competitive advantage over the rest of the world. My education is more than getting a better advantage for future employment, my education is about learning more about this world and how to improve upon it for future generations to come. The library is a representation of that to me with its many tomes full of knowledge and lore. Thank you for your personal sacrifice to make this University a better place. God bless you, Dear BYU Donor, Thank you so much for sacrificing of yourself to enable this University to bless so many people. You are truly a part of what makes the Brigham Young University world go around. One of the beneficiaries of your charity is me. Part of the curriculum for all students here at Brigham Young University is to take religion classes. These classes have helped strengthen my testimony of the gospel so much here at this University. I have learned so many gospel insights and received much personal revelation from the professors of religion. My professors have provided me with great insights from their own personal studies and preparation. My religion classes here have been a great source of personal spiritual strength drawing from the power of the scriptures and the spirit. This University is truly an inspired place with inspirational people. Thank you for being one of those people through your charity. Sincerely, Dear BYU Donor, Thank you for your charitable donation to Brigham Young University. It is on the shoulders of giants that we dwarfs of students can see the wide world before us. You are the giant that provides the shoulder vantage point. As a student of biology, I have observed many things in my studies that can sweep a student away into confusion if they are not anchored. Brigham Young University provides that firm anchor of the gospel of Jesus Christ. Brigham Young University provides me with the proper perspective as I look at the many theories of life and how it came to be. This University keeps me firmly rooted so I can go through my studies without having to second guess my beliefs or outlook on the world. Starting class with a hymn and a prayer strengthen those roots that I have. I could only do that at Brigham Young University. Thank you for your generosity to help me broaden my perspective. Sincerely, Dear BYU Donor, It is with great thankfulness that I send you this letter of gratitude for your donation. Your donation helps to fuel a program of great inspiration and strength. As a part of my major, it is required for me to take a series of courses in physics. It is there where I met a professor who is truly passionate about what he does. This is not an uncommon occurrence here to have a professor who is passionate about what he or she teaches, it is more regular than not. This professor knew that this course would not be easy for most students and did everything he possibly could to ensure the greatest amount of success for the most students. He had pre- and post-test reviews. He showed us where we could get help if we were having problems and opened his office often. He helped me to get the most out of that class and how to take it with me after the semester. Thank you for your donation which helped me find a greater passion for learning from passionate professors. Sincerely, Dear BYU Donor, I am writing this letter to personally thank you for your charitable donation to Brigham Young University. Your donation to the cause of the University is certainly a noble one. As a student here I have found my experience to be intellectually enriching and spiritually maturing. I have learned from the religion classes offered here how to be a better man for my fellow man. I have spiritually matured from the excellent professors who carefully follow divine influences to mold the spiritual minds of the students here at Brigham Young University. I have gained great insights from the courses of study offered here. I have learned how to better share the good news of our Savior with others who have not yet learned of the restoration of the fullness of the gospel of Jesus Christ. I have learned more of the life of Jesus Christ and seen more into the background of events and why they had to happen the way they did. It is amazing to see how everything works for our good in the long run. Thank you again for your generosity for donating for a more spiritually hospitable University. Sincerely, Dear BYU Donor, With a thankful heart, I write this letter of gratitude in your honor thanking you for your generous donation to Brigham Young University. The academic programs run from your donations are a great blessing to many students like me. The college years are some of the most important years of a person’s life. It is a time when students are presented with many academic obstacles to overcome. Brigham Young University helps to reinforce good habits of learning through application, not just factual memorization. I had the privilege of taking physics from a professor that helped us to see the subject as an actual science and not just a subject full of equations. He helped us to find ways to reinforce what we had learned in lecture and reading assignments. He gave us a toolbox of ways to attack physics problems and let us figure out the solution from different perspectives. This is a very forward thinking University that acknowledges there is indeed more than one way to solve a problem. Thank you again for your charitable donation to this illustrious institution of education. Sincerely,
